Algunas de las dificultades y caracter\u00edsticas que todo traductor experto en farmacolog\u00eda necesita ser\u00edan las siguientes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conocimientos generales sobre qu\u00edmica, biolog\u00eda y medicina.<\/li>\n<li>Conocimientos sobre patentes.<\/li>\n<li>Familiaridad con los textos de este campo.<\/li>\n<li>Tecnicismos y jerga del \u00e1mbito cient\u00edfico.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Por supuesto, tal y como mencionamos en <a href=\"https:\/\/tatutrad.net\/la-traduccion-medica-en-tatutrad\/\">nuestra entrada anterior sobre traducci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica<\/a> y sobre <a href=\"https:\/\/tatutrad.net\/la-interpretacion-medica-en-hospitales\/\">interpretaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica en hospitales<\/a>, el dominio absoluto de los conocimientos ling\u00fc\u00edsticos es un requisito imprescindible en la traducci\u00f3n farmac\u00e9utica, independientemente de las combinaciones de idiomas con las que trabajemos.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, cuando llevamos a cabo una traducci\u00f3n farmac\u00e9utica, es importante conocer en profundidad los protocolos que siguen los organismos de esta industria. La Agencia Europea de Medicamentos y su Comit\u00e9 de Medicamentos de Uso Humano son los organismos encargados de la evaluaci\u00f3n de la seguridad, la calidad y la eficacia de los medicamentos para permitir su posterior comercializaci\u00f3n en Europa. Estos organismos, entre otros, regulan la informaci\u00f3n que debe aparecer en los prospectos, en las etiquetas y en las fichas t\u00e9cnicas de los documentos (textos t\u00edpicos que suelen traducirse).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Un traductor farmac\u00e9utico debe conocer las diferentes formas de redacci\u00f3n (seg\u00fan el formato y la funci\u00f3n del f\u00e1rmaco) que proponen estos organismos en el pa\u00eds en el que se pretende comercializar el producto.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Este hecho requiere que el <strong>traductor farmac\u00e9utico<\/strong> est\u00e9 al d\u00eda en todo momento, ya que el desconocimiento de dichas formas de redacci\u00f3n y del tipo de informaci\u00f3n que se debe incluir en ciertos documentos farmac\u00e9uticos podr\u00eda suponer la prohibici\u00f3n de su comercializaci\u00f3n, lo que conllevar\u00eda p\u00e9rdidas econ\u00f3micas para la empresa encargada de la elaboraci\u00f3n o distribuci\u00f3n del medicamento.<\/p>\n<p>Los traductores farmac\u00e9uticos, por tanto, se enfrentan a una dificultad adicional: la formaci\u00f3n continua.
